1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QRMax ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QRMax provides a QR code generation platform that allows users to create static and dynamic QR codes, build landing pages, and track scan analytics. The Service is available through free and paid subscription plans.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free and Paid Plans

  • Free plan: Includes unlimited static QR codes, one dynamic QR code with a landing page, and basic analytics
  • Pro plan: Includes unlimited dynamic QR codes, unlimited landing pages, detailed analytics, and customization features at the published subscription price

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create through the Service (URLs, landing page text, images, etc.). By using the Service, you grant QRMax a limited license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content encoded in your QR codes and displayed on your landing pages. Content must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. QR Code Functionality

  • Static QR codes encode data directly and will function independently of QRMax after download
  • Dynamic QR codes route through QRMax servers. Their continued operation depends on an active account and the availability of our Service

We strive to maintain high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of dynamic QR code redirects or landing pages.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, or deceptive content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Generate QR codes that direct to illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Abuse the Service through automated means that degrade performance for other users
  • Resell the Service without written permission

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your dynamic QR codes and landing pages will stop functioning. You may request an export of your data before termination takes effect.

9. Intellectual Property

The QRMax name, logo, website design, and underlying software are the property of QRMax. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. QR codes you generate are yours to use freely.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRMax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold QRMax harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where QRMax is headquartered.
